Singapore Press Holdings organised a charity tournament with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China as the title sponsor to promote China-Singapore relations. The tournament took place on 7 August 2016. 

Pacific International Lines (PIL) participated in the event as one of its sponsors.

Funds raised will be donated to the President' Challenge.

The event received media coverage from Lianhe Zaobao, Xinmin Daily and Lianhe Wanbao.
