You are our prime asset and the key factor to our success.
Be Part of a Global Family
You will gain global perspective working with different nationalities, languages and cultures. Our vast network of overseas offices creates opportunities for you to rotate among jobs and receive various overseas work assignments.
Learning and Career Development
We emphasize on providing staff with opportunities for career development and encourage those still in pursuit of higher education to apply for internship positions with us and start to build their interest in the Maritime industry. Our people come from various backgrounds and we endeavor to bring out the best in every employee.
Camaraderie and Work-Life Harmony
An array of wellness, sport and recreational activities are organised just for you throughout the year by our staff social & recreation club, Club Pacific. Policies such as Flexible Work Arrangement are in place to help you achieve the work-life harmony.
A Peace of Mind onboard at Work
International Labour Organisation (ILO)'s Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006 provides comprehensive rights and protection at work for seafarers with an aim to achieve both decent working conditions for seafarers and secure economic interests in fair competition for quality ship owners. Each of our vessels has been issued a MLC Certificate. You can have a peace of mind working onboard any PIL operated vessels.
Work Attachment Programme (WAP)
In 2013, we launched a work attachment programme for staffs to be attached across continent within PIL Group. Our WAP participants are given an opportunity to immerse in different business environment. By working closely with experienced managers of other offices, participants will gain valuable global/regional exposure on our line of business to further develop him/her.
