PIL supported the Hong Kong based non-profit organization, CrossRoads Foundation in their shipments to Cameroon and Kenya.

The first shipment supported a school in a poor area of Kayole, Nairobi. The educational supplies such as computers, school desks and chairs have enabled the number of students to increase from 100 to 1,000. In addition, they were able to build a new library with books received from Hong Kong.

PIL also carried a shipment sent to a remote, rural area of western Cameroon cut off from public services like medical clinics and schools. Crossroads’ shipment has equipped and supplied a healthcare center accessed by 18,000 inhabitants, while educational equipment, computers, furniture and toys were sent to local schools.
