New Transpacific Service

Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd ("PIL"), announced the details of their new transpacific service which will commence on 6th April at Hong Kong, following the end of the cooperation with "K" Line and Wan Hai Lines in the trade.

Deploying 5 ships of 1550 TEU nominal capacity each, the weekly service branded "China-Transpacific (CTP) Service" will have the following port rotation : Hong Kong, Shekou, Ningbo, Shanghai, Long Beach and Hong Kong. In addition, Xiamen and Oakland will be covered in the first 5 sailings.

This independant service will enable PIL to be more responsive to changing market conditions and thus better serve customers' needs.
