PIL express its profound sadness on the demise of the Founding Father of modern day Singapore, Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

Mr Lee's passion and drive had successfully transformed Singapore from a Third World country to a prosperous country that many citizens are proud to call home. His vision and strength to do the right thing had ensured that Singapore succeed in the global economy with a striving Maritime industry.

Mr Lee's insights on political issues in Asia are well sought after by world leaders making him a true Global Statesman.
