Resumption of Far East - Europe Service (FES)

Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd (PIL) and Wan Hai Lines (WHL) today announce a restructuring of their weekly Asia - Europe service coverage by resuming their Far East Europe (FES) joint service with 9 ships of 4250 TEU capacity. PIL and WHL will each operate 4 vessels whilst the 9th vessel will be jointly deployed. The current Slot Charter arrangement on COSCON's Asia Europe service (AES) will cease in March 2010.

This Far East/Europe (FES) service will have the following port rotation :

Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shekou, Nansha, Singapore, Port Kelang, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Port Kelang, Singapore, Shekou and Shanghai.

The first FES sailing is scheduled to commence from Shanghai on 13th March 2010.

The re-organization of the FES service will enhance PIL's flexibility to fulfill customer's demands amid continued challenging economic conditions.
