Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd and Wan Hai Lines have reached an agreement with COSCON on the Asia – Europe trade wherein they will Slot Charter space on COSCON’s Asia Europe service (AES).

The AES connects China to west Europe calling at Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Nansha, Singapore, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Singapore and Shanghai. This arrangement would allow PIL and WHL to widen their port coverage in China while improving the service quality with faster transit times.

PIL and Wan Hai will start loading on the AES vessels in Dec 2008 when the current joint service to Europe will be suspended.
