PIL expands coverage of West Coast South America Service 6

Pacific International Lines (PIL) is enhancing our West Coast South America Service 6 (WS6) with the aim of continually expanding our coverage in that region.

The WS6 coverage will now include a weekly direct call at Ensenada, Mexico and a switch of terminal call from Valparaíso to San Antonio, Chile, reflecting PIL’s commitment on strengthening our network coverage of West Coast South America. The enhanced WS6 commences from 2 April 2025.

Mr William Ho, General Manager of Long-Haul Trade, Line Management, at PIL said, “With the continued growth prospects of the Latin America market, the West Coast of South America remains a key market for PIL. Since 2011, our robust presence and comprehensive services have expanded to six countries in this area. Across Latin America, we proudly operate five service routes to serve our customers. Guided by our commitment to ‘Putting Customers First,’ we are dedicated to investing in this region, pushing boundaries, and enhancing our service offerings to deliver greater value to our customers.”

The enhanced ports of call for WS6 service are:
Ningbo – Shanghai – Qingdao – Busan – Ensenada – Manzanillo – Lazaro Cardenas – Puerto Quetzal – Buenaventura – Callao – San Antonio – Ningbo.
