Implementation of Congestion Surcharge (CGD) to Port Louis, Mauritius
In view of the current situation at Port Louis, Mauritius, PIL will be implementing a Congestion Surcharge (CGD) for all cargo to Port Louis with effect from 22 December 2024.
The CGD will apply based on the cargo’s loading date at its port of origin. This surcharge is to be collected together with Ocean Freight (OFT) unless otherwise stipulated on your shipping instruction.
Please refer to the table below for the CGD charges (amounts in USD) applicable to all laden containers arriving at Port Louis, and will remain until further notice.
