Tariff Revision – Charge for Change of Destination/Diversion Fee (DIV)
Dear Valued Customers,
We would like to inform you that with effect from 10 March 2025, our Charge for Change of Destination/Diversion Fee (DIV) will be revised to USD 400 per container. This revision is necessary to maintain our service standards within our networks and partners.
The DIV will apply to any change of destination in the shipment against the Bill of Lading. A “change of destination” is considered to have occurred when we receive a request to change the port of discharge (POD) when a shipment has been received and gated-in at the port of loading (POL), before its arrival at the original POD.
The DIV excludes fees for the re-issuance or splitting of the Bill of Lading. All additional costs incurred for the change of destination, including but not limited to re-stowage, re-positioning, loading or unloading costs, detention and/or demurrage costs, or inland haulage, shall be borne by the shipper and/or consignee, and need to be paid in full prior to the release of the shipment.
Please contact our local office if you require any clarification.
We thank you for your understanding and for your continued support. We look forward to be of service to you and to maintain our good relationship in the years ahead.
